Are we ready for the third World War?

ARE WE READY FOR THE THIRD WORLD WAR?

In many countries, the threat of a nuclear war is being taken very seriously, but Mauritians seem to be unaware of such eventuality, with big projects for the future, such as the Metro Leger and others worth billions of rupees.
Those who have lived through the last world war know how such calamity affects everyone in the country,as we depend too much on imports for our foodstuffs, the country being covered with sugar cane, instead of various food crops and dairy farms, that would supply most of our food requirements.
The whole world may soon have to face a disaster as it has never experienced before, due to much accumulation of nuclear weapons, that will cause havoc on a global scale. Together with nuclear disaster, new diseases will become frequent,as well as new weather conditions. Such apocalypse has been predicted by many astrologers, and so,we should be concerned, and be ready to face such chaos, and not wait till it happens! In many countries, there are already underground shelters where the population can live safely for months. It is a law in Switzerland to build nuclear shelters in all new apartment blocks, and they also have built shelters inside the mountains, with stocks of canned food. In other countries, the individual anti-nuclear bunker business is booming!
So instead of dancing the sega and accumulate money in banks, we should prepare ourselves for the worst calamity that may happen soon:
Hyperinflation –Germany 1928

First, a strategic plan for food sufficiency should be planned, removing sugar cane and cultivating manioc, patates, breadfruit, rice, wheat ,bananas etc... The global sugar crisis may be a blessing,as it may become a useless plant, due to competitive plantations in huge countries such as Brazil and Africa.
Experts should come together and make a plan to plant food crops,on a national basis, and not by individuals,as it is a question of national emergency. Even without war,we can witness how Venezuela is being affected  with soaring prices of food, while possessing huge amount of land. People have forgotten that Mother Nature provides everything if only   we plant food crops instead of looking for oil or planting cash crops for exports.
We should also learn how to cultivate and consume sea algae,as it is very nourishing, and good for export.
Cows are also much important for self sufficiency in agriculture as they provide not only milk, but precious dung and urine necessary for agriculture. So, best breed of cows, such as Gir, should be bought and kept as useful creatures that help humanity to survive. But they should be considered as mothers and not just as creatures to be exploited and killed whenever they don’t give any milk.
We are lucky to live in a country where food can be planted all the year round, but in case of cyclones only, there is a temporary problem. So there should be always some stock just in case of such calamity.
‘Gouverner c’est prevoir’ should be the motto for all leaders, who care for the population, and just to compete for ranking among wealthiest countries should not be our priority,as the banking system may also collapse soon, due to debts. It has already happened to many countries, when the banks declares bankruptcy, and all money deposited vanished overnight! The monetary system is based on paper money, created from nothing, and is due to collapse soon,as most countries are relying on debt based economy.
In our case, the end of the sugar protocol will be a personal catastrophe,as we ignore how low the future pricing will fall down!
Other suggestions: a National Seed Bank, where all varieties of local seeds will be stored, hybrid seeds to be ignored as they don’t produce valuable seeds.
We should also learn [ on the MBC] how to dry foodstuffs, such as manioc and many others, with electric or solar dryers, thus no waste.
A school for natural agriculture should also be opened as most youths ignore the basics of planting,as they just go shopping at the super markets for everything! Or better, all schools should include theoretical and practical  natural agriculture, including how to care for cows and oxen,as they will be useful during  global catastrophes. Most children have never tasted pure delicious cow milk or even seen a cow!
Relying on chemicals and machines has made humanity useless regarding the production of food, while the wealthiest just accumulate money to enjoy permanent holidays…
It is also useful to teach about the horrors of past wars, through the national TV,with discussions afterwards, just to remember how scarcity of food turned humans into cannibals in many occasions.
If we don’t have any plan for such emergency, we will have to use the metro carriages and the crazy number of cars/buses as poultry cages,[kazot poules]during the world conflict soon! Paradise island may turn into hell with a starving population!
